Kluge Winery

Saturday, we drove out to Kluge Vineyard for a tasty and relaxing afternoon. On the way there, we past Jefferson and Monroe's homes - how often can you say that?

We finally made it to the vineyard, after countless stops (to Nathan's amusement?) so I could take photos the entire way there. One would think I was a tourist, however we live a few minutes away in town -

We ended up getting the wine and cheese pairing platter - delicious! What a perfect afternoon, we had so much fun!

Today

Today is our one year anniversary!!!!! Of course, we've been celebrating this whole week, starting on Thursday with a morning viewing of Harry Potter (and sneaking in half a dozen Spudnuts to snack on). PS the movie was absolutely awesome! Highly recommended.

Friday was our trip out to Richmond for the Nordstrom sale - gotta get my hubby all polished for his interviews coming up. And tonight we are going all out at Mas for dinner (one of our all time favorite C'ville restaurants in Bellmont).

Here's to one year!!! I heart my Pooky Bear.

Lonely Mr. Frodo

Ever wonder what your dog does when you're away? We did, and we soon discovered that Mr. Frodo gets very, very lonesome when we're gone...

How long is one a newlywed for?

We're approaching our first anniversary this week, and it's a weird feeling of time flying by, mixed with a feeling it has been forever. I'm reading everywhere you're only a newlywed for the first year, but in my opinion, we'll always be newlyweds. Here are some fun photos from a year ago (in a week) -
